Narrative structure
Tordov equilibrium disruption and props character theory were considered when I started my research and tried to write synopsis for my horror trailer.In these theories Victims use their thinking , physical or props to solve the crime or reveal to overthrow the killer.

Icons :- blood gore , knives, shadows, darkness, masks, ghosts, deformities , are all instantly recognisable icons used in horror movies for years.
Lots of strong icons in movies like Werewolf movie & Twilight 2004 movie.

Music and sound:- Music and sound for horror are sometimes slow with different fast tempo to go with action or chases. Halloween movie is famous for its use of same repeated piano code to create aerratic music that audience recognises. Sometimes you get a loud pounding noises with bangs, scream and crash to keep the audience at the edge of their seats.

Films like Psycho , Jaws, Jurassic park and Twilight use similar music to create mild horror moods which become recognisable as a music motif to help set mood for horror music, or give you hints with music as to when there is going to be a killing or murderous blood scene.
