Early part of research into teaser trailer and horror stories

Following slides were part of the early research i done, to get ideas, learn about conventions and media language.
After looking at the horror clips i felt more prepared to handle the task ahead.My intial aim was to scare the audience ,after all that why most people watch horror films for. I dont think i have a seen a really great scary horror film( exorcist, paranormal acitivity ) , some come close and some have elements which i like ,others like "aliens" and "the grudge" could have gone bit better to scare the audience more.

Although i have read that some teaser trailer are 30-60 sec ,i have decided i need the screen time and aim to one at least 1min 30 seconds.Most of the trailers i have seen can be about 2-3 minutes and some examples i loved include these
